Paradox: Why Lazy People Move A Lot

Lazy people move a lot. Lazy people do workouts. Lazy people exercise. Because they are too lazy to be pressurized on the inside by the accumulated unused energy.

Ten minutes of sitting without a break for exercise is OK. But when I have to sit in a meeting for an hour or more, that’s a pain. You’ll hardly believe me, but there are people who can sit many hours without even standing up once!

It is not for the weak. It is not for me, sorry. Any sitting that’s longer than an hour is a torture for me. It’s something far beyond what I can take.

I can’t even imagine how strong they actually are. They are holding that pressure day in day out for years. Then if you think of their determination to suffer all the health damage, all the medical investigations, therapies, surgeries and what not, you can’t help being rendered speechless. How is that humanly possible at all? But it is.

This painful method of self torture by aggressively starving themselves on movement, has thousands and thousands of followers, even millions worldwide, I think. And all those people repeat in one voice “I am too lazy to move”, “I’m lacking willpower for exercise” and other baseless claims.

How can you be lazy or lacking willpower if you can force yourself confined to an underworked condition?

Many of you don’t even sleep because it is terribly difficult to get a good sleep if you are under a pressure all of the time. Many of you fall into depression, but even that won’t stop you from using that terrible force on yourselves! Heroes you are, the true superheroes, indeed!

But I am not a hero. I am just a happy, self-centered, life savoring lazybones. I move a lot, I act with kindness, I love exercise and life. Because I am too lazy to suffer the consequences of not being so.
